The Lake at the 8 Mile Marker

To see the true beauty of  Lake of the Ozarks, you have to get out on the water.  With over 90 miles of lake to explore, a rental boat from Alhonna Resort & Marina is a sure bet for a great experience.

We offer over 30 different rentals with boats from 16 to 28 feet and you don't have to be an expert to drive one!   Our courteous staff will be happy to instruct you in operating your watercraft in a safe manner.

Whether it's skiing, fishing or just plain sight seeing, one of our rental boats is sure to fit your needs.  Choose from 2 sizes of ski boats, our 24' or 26'  deck boats, 2 sizes of triple log pontoons, fishing boats with a motor or, for the adventurous... a bass boat or fishing pontoon rigged  for the big catch.

All boats are available from 8:00AM to 6:00PM, 7 days a week (in season), call for off season hours.  Boats may also be rented for multiple days or a week at a time.  Boats require pre-payment of rental fees, sales tax, gasoline and damage deposit before leaving the dock.  If you are planning on renting a boat on a Saturday in June, July or August or on a holiday, it is a good idea to reserve your boat in advance of your arrival.

New Boater Education Law

Beginning January 1, 2005, all Missouri residents born after January 1, 1984, who operate any vessel on the lakes of the state of  Missouri must have on board his or her boating safety identification card issued by the Missouri State Water Patrol (or valid out of state boater's certification card). The card is obtained by successfully completing a boating safety course approved by the Missouri State Water Patrol. Beginning January 1, 2006, the boating safety identification card requirement also applies to nonresidents born after January 1, 1984.

Beginning January 1, 2006, nonresidents of Missouri may obtain a temporary boater education permit for the purpose of renting a vessel, in lieu of the boating safety identification card requirement above. The temporary permit is obtained by successfully completing an examination approved by the Missouri State Water Patrol and is valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
