Alhonna Resort was built in the the
early l950's by Al & Honna Vilmin (thus the
name...for those of you who were wondering). The original resort
consisted of 8 rustic, knotty pine cottages and one bunk type room, underneath the owners
quarters.
Today, Alhonna Resort boasts 60
lakefront and lakeview units. We offer a host of different types of accommodations
from 1 room motels to deluxe 4 bedroom condominiums and cottages.
You can still find some of the
original knotty pine interior, refinished in cottage #6, if you have a desire to revisit
the past.
