Bass Tournament Information and
Application
Take off and weigh in at Alhonna Resort at the 8 Mile Marker.
$100 Entry Fee Per Boat
$10 Optional Big Bass Pot

*13th Place gets a BONUS 1% of the Payback and if the team members are registered guests
at Alhonna Resort, we'll throw in a $100.00 toward room rental at Alhonna Resort!

TOURNAMENT RULES
1. RULES: The following rules for the tournament will be used. These rules
will be interpreted solely by the tournament officials and the decisions are final.
2. ELIGIBILITY:All individuals who have paid the appropriate entry fee.
Anglers under the age of 16 may compete as a non-boater if accompanied by a boater who
must be their legal guardian.
3. ENTRY FEE: $100.00 per boat. Entries will be accepted until take off
time. There will be a $20.00 late fee for any team that registers after 10PM, the
evening prior to the tournament or at the take off location. Entry fees may not be
paid by personal check within 15 days of the tournament start date. Entry fees may
not be paid by credit card. No more than 2 persons per boat.
4. TOURNAMENT HOURS: Saturday take off at 7:00AM, weigh in at 4:00PM.
Sunday take off at 7:00AM and weigh in at 2:00PM. All fish must be caught during
tournament hours.
5. TAKE OFF: Take off and weigh in at Alhonna Resort at the 8 mile marker of
the Lake. Starting position will be determined by the sequence in which entry fees
are received.
6. TACKLE & EQUIPMENT: Only artificial bait and lures may be used.
No trolling, all bass must be caught on rod and reel during tournament hours. Pork
style baits are allowed.
7. BOATS & MOTORS: Any boat 14 feet or longer will be accepted.
Boats may not be trailered during tournament hours.
8. SAFETY & SPORTSMANSHIP: Safe boating and fishing practices must be
observed. Life jackets must be worn when boat is on plane. Working kill
switches are required and must be worn. All Missouri Department of Conservation and
Missouri Water Patrol regulations apply.
9. PERMITTED FISHING LOCATIONS: Anywhere on the tournament lake, except 1)
within 50 yards of another contestant's boat, 2) inside the buoys of any public launch
area and, 3) within the tournament take off cove. No fishing off docks.
10. SCORING: Largemouth, Kentucky and Smallmouth bass, 15" or more in
length will be counted. Total stringer weight per team will determine scoring
position. Any short bass presented for weigh in will cause 2 lbs. to be subtracted
from total weight and loss of the short fish. Five (5) fish per team may be weighed
each day. No frozen, iced or mangled fish accepted. Any dead fish will be
penalized 4 oz. per fish.
11. PROTESTS: Protests must be filed within 15 minutes after weigh in.
12. TIES: Ties will be broken by earliest starting position.
13. LATE CHECK IN PENALTY: 1 lb. per minute up to 10 minutes, then
disqualification. NO EXCUSES. For safety reasons, ALL PARTICIPANTS, even those
with no fish, MUST CHECK IN each afternoon.
14. TOURNAMENT CANCELLATION: If the tournament is completely canceled due to
reasons of safety, etc., the entry fees will be refunded. No refunds will be made
for any other reasons - in case the tournament is partially delayed or shortened for
safety reasons, the decisions of the tournament officials will be final.

We have and read and understand the tournament rules and enclose the completed application
and our entry fee of $100.00. Optional Big Bass side pot is $10.00 per boat.
Make checks payable to Alhonna Resort. NO POST DATED CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
In signing the application, we hereby waive and release all other contestants, sponsors,
Alhonna Resort and tournament officials from all claims for injury and/or damages incurred
in connection with this tournament. Receipt date of entry determines starting
position. Cash, check or money order must accompany this form to qualify for
tournament entry. Personal checks will not be accepted within 15 days of the
tournament start date. Tournament fees may not be paid by credit card.
